How To Print, Publish, and Sell Your Pictures
I learned photography and editing organically, meaning I learned by doing it obsessively, over and over again. My love of New York became my style, and IPhotoNewYork became my platform. I turned my obsession in to a business selling my images in many forms.
Four years ago I enrolled in New York City College of Technology to study Graphic Design and Communication. I learned that design has history, industry standards, software to master, and a critical thought process that can’t be ignored. Best of all, I learned how to print, make books, magazines, posters, and more. They opened up my eyes to a higher level of design.
Within this chapter, I will share some of the things I’ve learned to do well over the years, as well as stuff that is both currently on, and off line. I hope I can give you some creative inspiration.
If there is one thing I can leave you with is that if you are serious about photography then you have to shoot RAW files. It gives you the ability to manipulate color channels, exposures, temperatures, and more.
