Originally, I started I Photo New York in 1986 as theweblicist.com, a photo blog I built using WordPress.org. At the time, I had just moved back to New York after a two year absence. While I was gone and living in Chicago, I picked up the habit of carrying my camera and taking pictures wherever I went. When I got back to New York I never left home without it.
My first WordPress site, I Photo New York has morphed through many different machinations before it was what it is today. Constantly evolving, it is currently a customized child theme of a milo3oneseven template.
It is live, and going through a behind-the-scenes, post-by-post renovation. I am adding Google mapping coordinates to each series to better serve my visitors.
